Constellation Oval — 9-Globe, Smoke & Black

Nine smoked globes on matt black stems from a 120 cm oval plate. Two more globes than the opal version and a deeper stagger, which is what makes it work in a stairwell where you see it from several levels at once.

Smoked glass over a void reads better than opal does. From below you get the filaments as points of light; from the landing you get the tops of the globes catching the ceiling wash. Opal, seen from above, is just a row of white balls.

The drop range goes to 120 cm, and the stems can be specified shorter at order — email us the ceiling height and the sightlines and we will tell you what we would set them to.
