Shard Ring — 8-Drop

A solid bronze ring, 70 cm across, with eight crystals hung inside and around it. It is the flattest fitting we make for its width, which is why it works under a normal ceiling where the cascades do not.

The ring itself is the structure — it hangs from three steel cables to a small canopy, so from below you read a clean circle rather than a bundle of flexes. The crystals sit at two depths inside and outside the ring, close enough to the ring to stay part of it.

Over a coffee table or a seating group it gives you a lit object at eye level from the sofa. It is not a task light; at 24 W total it will not light a room on its own and it is not meant to.
